General Terms and Conditions
The English version of the General Terms and Conditions is a translation of the Dutch version. In case of doubt, the Dutch version prevails. It can be found underneath the English translation.
By visiting the website of The Volcans, the user confirms that he has read and accepted the general terms and conditions. When placing an order, the user also accepts the general terms and conditions that apply at that time. The Volcans reserves the right to change these at any time.
Offer: The Volcans can change the range of products on the website at any time. Images are always illustrative.
Sales: The Volcans can always refuse an order.
Prices: all our prices include taxes, VAT and duties. The shipping costs are stated before the user pays.
Payment: the user can pay for his order via Bancontact, Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, iDeal, PayPal or the channels offered when completing the order.
Delivery: books are delivered via a delivery service. The Volcans cannot be held liable for delays in delivery due to the actions of the delivery service. For e-books, the user will receive a link by email to download the article. This link may be subject to restrictions, such as a limitation on the number of times the user can download the article or a limitation on the time in which the user can download the article.
Right of withdrawal according to EU legislation: the right of withdrawal applies to books for 14 calendar days from the day after delivery. If the user wishes to exercise his right of withdrawal, he can do so via info@thevolcans.com. From the day after, the user has 14 calendar days to return the article at his own expense, together with the invoice and this completed legal model form. The Volcans will provide the return address. The Volcans has 14 calendar days from receipt of the article to refund the user. Damage to the article will be deducted from the refunded amount. No right of withdrawal applies to e-books.

Verkoop: The Volcans kan steeds een bestelling weigeren.
Prijzen: al onze prijzen zijn inclusief belastingen, btw en taksen. De verzendkosten worden vermeld voordat de gebruiker betaalt.
Betaling: de gebruiker kan zijn bestelling betalen via Bancontact, Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, iDeal, PayPal of de kanalen aangeboden bij het voltooien van de bestelling.
Levering: de levering van boeken gebeurt via een bezorgdienst. The Volcans kan niet aansprakelijk worden gesteld voor vertragingen in de levering door toedoen van de bezorgdienst. Voor e-books ontvangt de gebruiker per mail een link om het artikel te downloaden. Op deze link kunnen beperkingen van toepassing zijn, zoals een beperking op het aantal keer dat de gebruiker het artikel kan downloaden of een beperking in de tijd waarin de gebruiker het artikel kan downloaden.
Herroepingsrecht volgens EU wetgeving: op boeken geldt het herroepingsrecht gedurende 14 kalenderdagen vanaf de dag na de levering. Indien de gebruiker zijn herroepingsrecht wil uitoefenen, kan dat via info@thevolcans.com. Vanaf de dag nadien heeft de gebruiker 14 kalenderdagen om het artikel op eigen kosten terug te sturen, samen met de factuur en dit ingevulde wettelijk modelformulier. The Volcans zal het retouradres meedelen. Vanaf ontvangst van het artikel heeft The Volcans 14 kalenderdagen de tijd om de gebruiker terug te betalen. Schade aan het artikel wordt hierbij afgetrokken van het terugbetaalde bedrag. Op e-books geldt geen herroepingsrecht.
Klachten: in geval van klachten kan de gebruiker The Volcans contacteren via info@thevolcans.com.
Intellectuele eigendomsrechten: deze website en de volledige inhoud ervan is eigendom van The Volcans en zijn beschermd door intellectuele eigendomsrechten.
Beperking van aansprakelijkheid: The Volcans kan in geen geval verantwoordelijk worden gehouden voor schade, rechtstreeks of onrechtstreeks, als gevolg van gebruik van de website en daaruit voortvloeiende diensten zoals aantasting van de winst of het verloren gaan van gegevens.
